Real Church. Real Life. Real Celebration.

Season of War

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”~ Ecclesiastes 3:1

“A time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace.” ~Ecclesiastes 3:8

Every Christian wants to know what the Lord is saying. It’s our desire to obey and serve God. Many times we miss discerning His voice for our own thoughts or desires. In this day that we’re living in there are many voices speaking to us. Hearing and discerning His voice should be the highest priority in our lives.

Everyone remembers where they were on September 11, 2001 when they heard the news. America was under attack. The Twin Towers and the Pentagon had been struck by airplanes. It was a time of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. What was happening to our nation?

It was a wake up call to America and the Church. Our churches were filled for the next few months. Everyone wanted to hear what God had to say. As time passed fear subsided and it became business as usual. We have become complacent and apathetic.

Most of the Body of Christ is at ease in Zion. It’s time to blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound the alarm upon His holy mountain. We are in warfare, it is the season and time of war. It’s time for the Church to arise and do battle. We have enjoyed a season and time of peace. Satan knows he has but a short time to make war upon the church. We are under attack, the anti-christ spirits are unleased to steal, kill, and destroy you, your family, and our nation.

If the church doesn’t engage the battle and fight, we will lose our freedoms. Slowly and little by little, political correctness will drive God out of our nation. Israel is our example. When Israel became complacent and idolatrous, they went into bondage and captivity.

Let us wake up and do battle for Christ our King.
