Are you Deceived?

When Jesus was on earth, He was confronted many times by the Pharisees. The high priests, elders, lawyers, Saducees, and all of the religious leaders were against him. He was sent by God to teach mankind and demonstrate  the Kingdom of God. He rebuked them all by His wisdom, words, and works. He said they had made God’s commandments of none effect, because they held to their doctorines and traditions taught by the elders.

All Christian denominations have their doctorines. A doctorine is that which presented for acceptance or belief. Teachings, instructions, learnings held by religious groups. A precept passed down from one generation to another. Jesus said these teachings made God’s commandments or Word to be rendered entirely useless or made empty.

We as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ need ears to hear and eyes to see. The Holy Spirit is abiding in every born-again believer. He was sent from God to teach us, and He is the Spirit of truth. God’s Word should be our final authority when it comes to what we believe and why we believe it. “Let God be true and every man a liar.”~ Romans 3:4

Could you possibly be wrong in some of your beliefs? Just because grandma said it or your church doctorine holds it to be true, it might not be true according to God’s Word. I challenge you to ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth.

Most people precieve before they recieve. We read or hear with a preconcieved mindset about what is said or read. Don’t be decieved in your beliefs.
