I’ve seen a lot of posts on Facebook lately about things they remember from their childhood. I remember going to a tiny little holiness church and everyone was so on fire for God. There was such an excitement when you came in that it was tangible. I didn’t know what it was back then, but it was the anointing that would leave you in awe of His presence. Where is it today? When I went to Mount Olivet it marked me. I knew God was real. They didn’t have Holy Ghost. We do. We have more now than what we did back then.
Remember when we set aside time to pray on Monday nights and other special times of prayer. Praying and waiting to see what God had to say. It was an exciting time. I mean, who wouldn’t be excited to hear what God had to say. I would leave there knowing that we accomplished what God wanted.
Apostle David said, “This house is built on prayer and praise.” To go up we must give up our time. It’s not for just a few. It takes unity of the Body to do this, and everyone giving their supply. It’s time to wake up men, women, and children of God. It’s time to get on our knees and pray. Spend time with the one who changes us from the inside out. To see the move of God that we’ve all heard about.
