Brainwashed

The generation we live in is being brainwashed every day. I look at posts and hear how people talk.

I think to myself, “Do people just not think anymore?”

We have so much technology at our fingertips, we can look up about anything we want, but we’re not really doing anything. We put things on Facebook and other social media sites and want other people to answer our questions.

We don’t really know these people. We don’t know anything about their character. We only look at what their status says and think their opinion matters.

All you have to do is look at their status every now and then, and it tells me a lot about a person. Do you really want this person’s advice? Do you just want a response? What is your reason for asking?
Whatever happened to thinking for yourself?

We don’t have a culture of independence we have a culture of dependence. We depend on anything but God. We’ve been brainwashed into thinking we are okay living this way, when we are not.

As a society we are governed by whatever the TV, social media, and what Twitter says. We don’t esteem what God’s Word says.

We need to take a look at our lives and see where we have missed it. See what we have conformed to. The Bible is our road map for life

~Romans 12:2 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you.”
